Hello, My name is Marco Lombardini, I was Born in New York City and currently reside on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. I have worked for many companies in a wide variety of fields. I have many interests including but not limited to Running, Politics, Media, and Technology. At times I experiment with my own blog/website to test new methods and open source material to see what are the beneficial effects of leveraging new technology. A Native New Yorker all my life I decided to help other New Yorkers who aren’t as fortunate as I am. I dedicate my time to helping improve the lives of others through serving food at soup kitchens, teaching kids squash, driving the coalition for the homeless van and also teaching children team work and life skills at PS2. I am lucky to be part of a great organization such as New York Cares.

At the start of 2007 we launched NYPolitics.com, a website dedicated to New York state politics.  Since then it has grown to 40,000 pageviews a month read by many politicians and voters across the state.

In 2005 I started a small company dedicated to helping non-profits and small groups develop an online presence while working within a budget. Today we have helped countless organizations leverage the internet and social media to benefit their causes. Our in-house projects have also grown since 2005 which include original content websites and community portals.

Urban Feet (Former Head Organizer)

As a passionate runner I have always found that spreading the health and well being of the sport to my friends and family is a great thing, I am proud to say that I head a group called urban feet along with another wonderful runner by the name of Liz Ng, we sponsor weekly runs for beginners and veterans in New York City. Founded in 2006 we have grown to more than 500 members . Sadly I had to step down as head organizer of the group due to a back injury in 2008 and Caroline Bartels has taken over the group with great success.

Additionally:

I’m also an accomplished Marathon runner, running the New York Marathon, Chicago Marathon and Ultra Marathons.

I am a recipient of the Presidents Volunteer Service Award – 2007 & 2008
