Seaplanes in New York City

In New York City there are so many transportation options that it can be dizzying. No matter where you go downtown, uptown, wall street, Shea stadium or the Hampton’s. You can take train, bus, taxi, bike, car, trams, boats, helicopters, airplanes, and walk. and apparently now SEA PLANES!

I spotted this sea plane landing and another taking off within minutes of each other from the East river along 23rd street marina. A not so quick search on the internet revealed that there is a marina specifically designated to serve seaplanes. I believe this is a charter service operated by ExcelAire
